Cookie settings
Skin Bliss uses a few cookies and similar storage in your browser. Some are necessary and always on. Analytics stays off unless you turn it on. Your choice covers all of getskinbliss.com: the homepage, the quiz, the blog and the learn pages. We ask again after a year.
Necessary Always on
- Your cookie choice (sb_consent, 1 year).
- Protection against abuse of the quiz's servers (sb_rl, until you close your browser).
- Your quiz answers and progress, kept in this browser so you can pick up where you left off (sb_quiz_v1, sb_quiz_display_v1).
- Sign-in, if you create an account (sb_auth_v1 and Google Firebase Authentication).
- Checkout, when you buy Pro: Stripe uses cookies to prevent fraud (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid).
- On the blog and learn pages, remembering that a page is open inside the Skin Bliss app (sb_app, this tab only).
Analytics
- Google Analytics, by Google, on the homepage, blog and learn pages: page visits and clicks on download, social and contact links. Cookies _ga and _ga_<id>, up to 2 years. Google may process this data in the United States.
- PostHog, hosted in the EU, in the quiz: which steps people finish, where they click (shown as heatmaps), and which errors happen. It also runs A/B tests that show some visitors a different version of a page. Cookie ph_<project>_posthog (1 year), browser storage __ph_opt_in_out_<project>, and our device ID sb_device_id (1 year), which keeps your A/B version the same between visits.
- We never sell this data or use it for ads.
Turning analytics off stops future collection. It does not erase data we already received.
