Best Moisturizers for Oily Skin at dm: We Analyzed 852 Products

We scored 852 dm moisturizers from their full ingredient lists and ranked the top 10 for oily skin, led by a fragrance-free niacinamide gel from Neutrogena.

We analyzed the 852 moisturizers in dm's skincare range that our scanner could fully read, scored each one from its complete ingredient list, and ranked the results for oily skin. The catalog snapshot dates to 2026-05-25 and the analysis ran on 2026-08-15. Of those 852 products, 218 passed our eligibility checks and received a full score 1.

Each product below carries an oily-skin fit score from 0.00 to 0.99. The score is a percentile: 0.95 means the formula lands in the top 5% of every moisturizer we scored at dm for oily skin. Nobody paid to be here. The ranking comes from ingredient lists alone, run through the same analysis engine that powers the Skin Bliss app.

A quick note before the list: several of these formulas lean on exfoliating acids or niacinamide. If you are new to either, patch test first and keep up your SPF during the day.

Which moisturizers scored highest for oily skin at dm?

1. Neutrogena Anti Pickel Gesichtsgel Niacinamide+Panthenol, 50 ml

The highest oily-skin fit at dm: 0.95, which puts it in the top 5% of everything we scored. The formula is fragrance-free and contains no animal-derived ingredients. Hydration sits in our standard tier, enough moisture for most oily skin without the heavy feel.

2. GARNIER Anti-Unreinheiten Sorbet Creme Salicylic, 85 ml

Also a 0.95 oily-skin fit. This is a light formula in our basic hydration tier, which can work well when your skin already produces plenty of oil on its own. Our analysis flags it as microplastic-free with no animal-derived ingredients.

3. Mixa Gel-Creme mattierend Anti-Unreinheiten, 50 ml

A third 0.95 score, this time from Mixa's mattifying gel-cream. It shares the profile of the Garnier pick above: basic-tier hydration, microplastic-free, no animal-derived ingredients. A reasonable choice if shine control is your main goal.

4. Acnemy Anti Pickel Tagescreme Zitcontrol, 40 ml

The first top-tier formula on the list, meaning its overall ingredient quality reached the highest grade in our system. It scores 0.90 for oily-skin fit, is fragrance-free, and contains ceramides with an adequate barrier repair grade. That combination may help when breakouts have left your skin feeling rough or reactive.

5. Transparent Lab Gesichtscreme Glow Niacinamide, 50 ml

Another top-tier formula at 0.90 oily-skin fit. It is fragrance-free, has no animal-derived ingredients, and pairs ceramides with an adequate barrier repair grade. Hydration stays in the basic tier, so it layers lightly.

6. Transparent Lab Gesichtsgel regenerierend mit CICA, 100 ml

Transparent Lab's second entry, a regenerating gel at 0.90 oily-skin fit. Our analysis grades its barrier repair and barrier seal support as minimal, so treat it as a lightweight everyday gel rather than a barrier treatment. Microplastic-free, no animal-derived ingredients.

7. GARNIER Feuchtigkeitscreme Hyaluron Sorbet Creme, 85 ml

Garnier's second spot, scoring 0.90 for oily skin. Hydration grades standard in our system, a step up from its salicylic sibling at rank 2. Microplastic-free with no animal-derived ingredients.

8. Neutrogena Gesichtsgel Hydro Boost Aqua, 50 ml

A 0.90 oily-skin fit with a rich hydration grade, one of only two on this list. That may suit you if your skin is oily but still feels tight after cleansing, a combination more common than most people expect.

9. Geek&Gorgeous Feuchtigkeitscreme Hydration Station, 50 ml

A top-tier formula at 0.80 oily-skin fit. It collects every positive flag we track here: fragrance-free, microplastic-free, no animal-derived ingredients. Hydration sits in the standard tier.

10. nerds. Gesichtsfluid Barrier Restore, 100 ml

Another top-tier pick at 0.80, and the most barrier-focused formula in the ranking. It contains ceramides, earns an adequate barrier repair grade with minimal seal support, and grades rich for hydration. Fragrance-free, microplastic-free, no animal-derived ingredients.

How we ranked these

Every product was scored from its full ingredient list with the same engine the Skin Bliss app uses to analyze products for your skin profile. The oily-skin fit score is a per-audience percentile from 0.00 to 0.99: it compares each moisturizer against every other moisturizer we scored in this catalog, for this specific skin type.

We capped the list at two products per brand family and broke score ties by fewer risk flags, then by base ingredient quality. We excluded products our scanner could not fully read, including some store private labels, along with anything in our bottom quality tier.

One honesty note. This ranking reflects our catalog snapshot of dm's range from 2026-05-25, analyzed on 2026-08-15. Stores rotate stock constantly, so a product on this list may be sold out near you, and newer arrivals are not covered yet.

FAQ

What does the oily-skin fit score mean?

It is a percentile from 0.00 to 0.99 comparing each product against every moisturizer we scored in dm's catalog for oily skin specifically. A 0.95 means the formula ranks in the top 5% for that skin type. It measures ingredient fit, and it cannot account for texture preferences or individual sensitivities.

Why is my favorite dm moisturizer not listed?

Three common reasons: our scanner could not fully read its ingredient list, it fell into our bottom quality tier, or its brand family already had two higher-scoring entries. A missing product is not automatically a bad product.

How often is this ranking updated?

The current version is built from a catalog snapshot dated 2026-05-25, analyzed on 2026-08-15. We plan to refresh store rankings periodically as new catalog data comes in, so check back before a big shelf restock haul.

Use This in Your Routine

A ranked list is a starting point, and your skin gets the final vote. Skin Bliss is a skincare scanner that checks whether products actually fit your skin, before you buy. Scan any product on this list, or anything else on dm's shelf, with the Skin Bliss app to see how it fits your personal skin profile, and run your full lineup through the Routine Evaluator to check whether a new moisturizer supports your goals or duplicates something you already own. You can read more about how we analyze products at getskinbliss.com.

Save this list for your next dm run, and if your current moisturizer beats all ten for your skin, that is a win worth keeping.
